Enjoy Hong Kong Privileges ‧ Courtesy

Riding on the success of the inaugural "Hong Kong Shopping Festival" in 2023, which attracted over 150 brands and approximately 6,000 stores, offering HKD 1.5 billion in privileges to residents and tourists, the Hong Kong Retail Management Association is stepping up its efforts to launch the second edition of the “Hong Kong Shopping Festival” from July to August this year.  We are pleased to garner more support from various industries, namely the retail, catering, shopping mall, hotel, logistic, electronic payment gateway and social media platform.  With the overarching theme "Enjoy Hong Kong Privileges ‧ Courtesy", the programme aims to provide residents and tourists with shopping privileges and courteous service, offering customers with pleasant shopping experience and supporting Hong Kong to live up its reputation as a hospitable city and “Experiential Shopping Paradise”. 


Event Date: 1 July - 31 August 2024

Opening Ceremony: 27 June 2024 



The event is divided into four different themes, with a promotional period of two weeks for each theme, covering various categories in the retail industry and aiming to attract Hong Kong residents and tourists to immerse themselves in the shopping atmosphere. With different shopping offers, the event aims to provide good deals and courteous services to enhance the shopping experience for consumers.
The themes include:


  • Personal care, cosmetics, health foods, hotels and related services
  • Telecommunications, electrical appliances, department stores, shopping malls, jewelry and watches
  • Clothing, footwear, glasses, coffee and wine, restaurants
  • Supermarkets, convenience stores, various products and goodies and exhibitions


Privileges:

  • All participating merchants must provide free gifts or discount coupons without a minimum spending requirement.


Courtesy:
  • Provide consumers with a good shopping experience through quality "courteous" service.
  • Participating merchants must sign the "Hong Kong Courtesy Service Charter" and commit to providing courteous service to consumers.
  • The association will provide "Hong Kong Good Gifts, with Courtesy" signs for merchants to display in their stores for promotion.
  • There will be a "Hong Kong Courtesy Store" voting activity conducted through the association's official online platform and AR LENS, allowing consumers to vote for the "Hong Kong Courtesy Stores."
