To alleviate the manpower shortage across different sectors, the Chief Executive in Council has earlier endorsed the enhancement of the coverage and operation of the Supplementary Labour Scheme and allows employers to import workers of the 26 job categories and unskilled/low-skilled post from the Scheme for two years.  The Enhanced Supplementary Scheme (ESLS) will be launched on 4 September and begin accepting applications on the same date.  HKRMA has invited representative from the Supplementary Labour Division of Labour Department to brief members on the details and arrangement of the ESLS.
