Chairman's Feedback on the Monthly Survey of Retail Sales, August 2008
（香港訊，二零零八年十月二日）－ 就政府公佈二零零八年八月份的零售銷貨額臨時統計數字，香港零售管理協會主席麥瑞琼女士有以下回應：
- 八月份的零售銷貨額上升10.4%。主要原因是由通脹帶動零售銷貨額上升。
- 另外亦有會員反映自從七月份起，由於中台兩地開始實施包機直航，於香港過境之旅客減少，直接影響香港零售業。
- 本港持續的通脹不但影響本港消費者意欲，亦對零售業構成壓力。
