Chairman's Feedback on the 2007-08 Policy Address (1) 協會感謝行政長官發表的施政報告，認為報告內容務實及進取。 (2) 協會又贊同報告以「大市場、小政府」為施政理念，及首要發展經濟為主的原則，為香港創造有利的營商環境。 (3) 協會認為減稅及寬免差餉等措施將有助帶動消費市場，對零售業有一定幫助，亦有助暫時緩解通脹問題；惟長遠而言，通脹（尤其是入口通脹）仍是香港的一大隱憂。 (4) 協會又對報告內提及草擬的競爭法、購物膠袋環保徵費、預先包裝食物營養資料標籤規管、及最低工資立法等措施的成效，表示保留；協會認為有關措施與政府「大市場、小政府」的施政理念相違背。協會將就有關問題適時向政府表達協會會員的意見，期望政府多與業界溝通。 About HKRMA The Hong Kong Retail Management Association (HKRMA) is the major association representing Hong Kong's retail industry. The Association's current membership represents over 500 major retail chains covering more than 5,000 retail outlets and employing two-thirds of the total retail workforce in Hong Kong.
