Generation X & Y Management

OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of the workshop, participants should be able to:

  1. Understand the behavior and thought of the X and Y generations staff from multi-dimensions, identify their strengths and hence to nurture their positive work attitudes
  2. Become more flexible in their management, learn various kinds of supervising skills when facing the different styles of staff, and ultimately drive their development and develop their potentials
  3. Sophistically apply the questioning and feedback skills to open up their staff’s mind, increase their work motivation and aspiration
WORKSHOP OUTLINE
  1. The X and Y generation:
  2. their work value, learning mode and communication patterns

  3. To align with the staff of Generation X and Y

    1. Three new roles of management in nowadays

    2. The different communication style to build rapport with the two generations

    3. Winning trust and respect from the X and Y generation

  4. Secret to motivate the Y generation

    1. The different keys to lead growth of the X and Y Generation

    2. Feedback and Questioning skills to motivate the Gen X and Y and lead to positive work value

    3. The management skills to guide them to overcome difficulties at work and build up their confidence
